Chris Bailey Brings Six-Win Cup Season to Darlington

The two-time champion leads Matt Holzbaur by 10 points with Darlington and Short Track remaining.

Chris Bailey arrives at Darlington atop the Cup standings after winning the latest Millbridge race, his sixth victory of the 2026 season. Bailey has 263 points, 10 more than Matt Holzbaur, with two championship races remaining.

The lead comes with substantial history behind it. Bailey owns Cup championships from 2022 and 2024, and the 2026 Presidents Cup is also part of his current-season record. His recent results include wins at Millbridge and Short Track, alongside a 13th-place ROAD finish and a ninth at Darlington.

Holzbaur remains close enough to keep the title unsettled. Monday's 30-lap Darlington round begins the final two-race test before the Short Track finale on October 12.
