Peyton Hinson Earns First Recorded Dash Feature Win at Darlington
Peyton Hinson captured the Dash race at Darlington for his first recorded feature victory. The win lifts him to sixth in the season standings.
Peyton Hinson reached a personal milestone at Darlington, winning the AutoBarn Classic Cars Dash Series race for his first recorded feature victory.
The victory came in Hinson's ninth recorded start. Before Darlington, his best supplied 2026 result was an eighth-place finish at Millbridge, followed by 11th at Short Track, 13th on the road course and eighth in the earlier Darlington event.
Hinson's 40-point result moved him to sixth in the Dash standings with 235 points. He trails fifth-place Kasey Meyer by 12 points and holds a three-point advantage over seventh-place Levi Jones.
Roger Diebold continues to lead the championship with 277 points, while Dan Mrak is second with 263. Hinson's win does not place him in the immediate title fight, but it provides a significant turnaround from his earlier season results and establishes the first feature victory of his recorded Dash career.
