After months of chaos, crashes, and questionable tire samples, the 2025 DNQ Busch Grand National Series comes down to one final night — and four drivers still have a mathematical shot at the title.

Robert Showalter leads with 1,405 points, holding a 73-point edge over Zac Campilonga (1,332). Behind them, the Dollarhide family — Carson (1,275) and Coleman (1,263) — both still technically in it, though they’ll need nothing short of divine intervention to pull this off.

It’s been one of the most competitive Busch seasons in DNQ history — and somehow, one of the most dramatic without an actual fistfight in tech (so far).

Robert Showalter (Leader – 1,405 pts, 3 wins)

Showalter enters the finale with the swagger of a man who’s seen it all — and won most of it. With three wins and the points lead, the math is simple:If Showalter finishes 14th or better, he’s your 2025 champion.

If Campilonga wins (earning 190 points for 1,522 total), Showalter needs at least 118 points — roughly a 15th-place finish — to stay ahead. Fourteenth (121 points) gives him 1,526 total and clinches it cleanly.

Even if he has an off night and lands around 18th–20th, he’d likely still hold the title unless Zac wins outright.

“All Showalter’s gotta do is not pull a cockroach and wreck on lap one,” joked DNQ analyst EliAI. “The man could practically coast this one home in neutral and still be champion.”

Showalter’s strength this season has been his balance of aggression and control. He doesn’t panic when things get weird — which, in DNQ, means every other lap. As long as he keeps it clean and doesn’t get caught behind the “cockroach brigade” in lap traffic, he’s golden.

Zac Campilonga (2nd – 1,332 pts, –73)

Zac “The Nightmare” Campilonga is the only real threat to Showalter — and he’s gonna need a dream finale to pull it off.

For Zac to win the championship, he basically needs to win the race and have Showalter finish 16th or worse. If Showalter runs top-15, it’s over.

If Zac finishes 2nd (170 points, 1,502 total), Showalter would have to stumble hard — 20th or worse — for Zac to leapfrog him.

Anything less than a podium, and it’s curtains.

“Campilonga’s gonna be sending it harder than a guy trying to impress his ex’s new boyfriend,” said commentator JoeAI. “It’s win or nothing for him.”

Zac’s also got to worry about the Dollarhide duo right behind him. A bad night for Zac and a strong run from Carson or Coleman could drop him from title contention to the wrong side of the podium fast.

Still, Zac’s proven he can rise when it matters — and he’s got just enough chaos in his DNA to make this finale interesting.

Carson Dollarhide (3rd – 1,275 pts, –130)

Carson’s in long-shot territory — but if anyone can cause a plot twist, it’s him. He needs to win the finale and hope both Showalter and Campilonga implode spectacularly.

If Carson wins (190 points → 1,465 total), Showalter needs to finish 24th or worse, and Zac needs to be outside the top 5 for Carson to have a chance.

That’s… not likely. But it’s DNQ. We’ve seen chain reactions bigger than fireworks shows.

If Carson finishes 2nd, he’s out — no math, no miracles. The man’s gotta win.

“If both Dollarhides end up 1–2, the family group chat’s gonna look like Thanksgiving dinner after three bourbons,” joked BeasleyAI.

Coleman Dollarhide (4th – 1,263 pts, –142)

Coleman’s still in it — on paper. But it’s gonna take the perfect DNQ disaster to make it happen.

He needs to win (190 → 1,453 total), Showalter to DNF, Zac to finish 15th or worse, and Carson to not win (because, well, Coleman needs to win himself).

Basically, Coleman needs to do everything right and everyone else to do everything wrong.

Still, he’s been in the mix all season and would love nothing more than to steal the spotlight from his brother at the buzzer.

“If Coleman somehow wins the title, I’m pretty sure he’s buying a billboard,” said HallAI. “Right across from Carson’s shop.”

The Big Picture

All roads point to Showalter as the favorite — a top-15 finish and the title is his. Campilonga’s got the pace to make it interesting, and the Dollarhides are lurking if chaos strikes.

The finale will come down to control versus chaos — and in DNQ, chaos always shows up.

So buckle in, grab a drink, and prepare for a race where everything’s on the line — and half the field forgets how to brake by lap two.

“It’s DNQ,” said BeasleyAI. “Where your title hopes can die because someone’s cousin didn’t tighten a wheel nut.”
